I feel bad that the project isn't going as smoothly as I thought it would.

I wanted to take a moment to apologize for the delay in our project update and explain the reasons behind it.

Firstly, I recently moved to a new place, which unfortunately took me away from my work for a few days. The preparation for the move and the process of settling in took longer than expected. Additionally, it took quite some time to get my internet connection set up in the new location.

Secondly, I encountered a few issues with the current work that required additional time to resolve. This unforeseen problem demanded extra attention to ensure the quality and integrity of the project.

I anticipate that we will be able to provide the update by the end of August.
